Cynthia B. Sellers was born and raised in Boston, MA. In addition to high school college courses, she took after-school classes at the Museum of Fine Arts. In junior college, she majored in Commercial Art and Advertising Design.

Cynthia has been featured in several media outlets, including WCVB’s “World of a Difference” campaign and a few national magazines and community newspapers. Her work was accepted to hang in the children’s ward at Martha Eliot Health Center, in Jamaica Plain, MA. She participated in the 2006 Boston Cow Parade painting a life-sized fiberglass “Celestial Cow” that was stationed outside of Boston’s City Hall. She was a member of Dorchester Arts Collaborative and participated in the Open Studio events. Her work has been exhibited at various gallery showings with the African Winter Gallery at City Hall and Umass Boston. She has participated in the Sidewalk Sam Art Street Festival and other community based events.

She and her husband reside in Worcester, Massachusetts, and love to dance where ever and whenever they can.
